Cookie policy

Ultimo aggiornamento: 14 ottobre 2026

Statistiche anonime (sempre attive)

Come cambiare idea

Cookie policy

Last updated: 14 October 2026

This lists every cookie and every piece of data StrategyCheck stores in your browser, what it's for and how long it stays. Today we only use technical cookies and anonymous visit statistics, and neither needs consent. If we ever add advertising or profiling tools, they'll only run if you agree in the banner, and you'll be able to change your mind from the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of the page.

Technical (always on)

sc_vid — a random identifier used to count the free check without an account and the examples. 400 days.

sb-…-auth-token — your session, if you're logged in (it may be split into parts, .0, .1). Not readable by JavaScript. Stays until you log out or the session expires.

sb-…-auth-token-code-verifier — protects Google sign-in and email links. A few minutes.

sc_src — which page a Google sign-up started from. 10 minutes.

sc_consent — that you've seen the cookie notice (and, if they're ever needed, your choices), so we don't show it on every page. 6 months.

In localStorage: sc_lang (the site language) and sc_draft (the strategy you pasted before signing up, so you get it back after logging in; 24 hours).

Anonymous statistics (always on)

Vercel Web Analytics — counts visits and page views anonymously and in aggregate, so we understand how the site is used. It uses no cookies, doesn't store the IP address and doesn't follow people across sites, so under the Italian data protection authority's guidelines it counts as a technical tool and needs no consent.

Marketing and profiling

We currently use no marketing, advertising or profiling cookies, and no third-party tools that follow you across other sites. If we ever do, they'll appear here and in the banner, and they'll only run with your consent.

The profiling consent you can give in your account is about using service data for tailored suggestions, not about cookies: it's described in the privacy notice.

Changing your mind

From the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page you can review what we use at any time and, once there are tools that need it, give or withdraw consent. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings: you'll lose your session, and the free-check count will restart from the data the server keeps.
